Factory 2.0 Production System available now for sale

At the beginning of June 2016, OMNI3D, a Polish company based in Poznan, presented its new Industrial 3D printer – the Factory 2.0 Production System at the ITM Fair (Innovations Technologies Machines) in Poznan.

The device has already been deployed to customers on three continents – in Europe, North America and Australia. Buyers include companies from industries such as electronics, engineering, automotive and aviation, as well as companies designing production lines and offering 3D printing solutions on demand.

“The device is of great interest, primarily because of its technical parameters, the attractive price and low operating costs. We estimate that, compared to other industrial solutions on the market, the cost of buying our printer is 4 times lower, and operating costs can be up to 5 times lower – depending on the application. This means, the devices can be used by small and medium-sized companies that have not yet been able to afford them before,” says Sławomir Mirkowski, responsible for operations and finance in OMNI3D.

Factory 2.0 Production System will be presented to the European audience at the TCT Show in Birmingham on October 28-29.

WHERE IS INDUSTRIAL 3D PRINTING HEADING?

In 2015, more than 12,500 3D printing systems were purchased globally, and the average annual growth rate of this market is 26%. These numbers leave no doubts – the use of professional industrial 3D printing over time will change the operation of many manufacturing companies.

“The use of 3D printing globally is constantly increasing. It is mainly used for the production of spare parts for production lines and equipment (33%), prototyping (16%), in R&D departments and education (10%), production of models (9%) and patterns for metal castings (8%). The technical parameters of Factory 2.0 mean that it can be used in all these fields. Therefore, in OMNI3D we believe that every Polish industrial company should be interested in the opportunities from implementing 3D printing systems,” emphasises Konrad Sierzputowski, responsible for technology development in OMNI3D.
